Getting Started

No Waitlist!
- A Bright Stars Care Coordinator will come to your residence to complete the initial paperwork and collect the qualifying documentation
- Qualifying Documents are then sent to GAPP to obtain approval
- The GAPP decision team will determine eligibility
- GAPP and Brightstars will then contact you with the decision
- Home/Nursing Care will s

- Home/Nursing Care will start with your loved one based on approval
- The service approval process typically takes about 30 days. Once approved, your loved one will start to receive care immediately.
We are dedicated to you and will do everything in our power to expedite the approval process so that your loved one doesn't have to go another day without quality care.

GAPP is a Medicaid program for medically-qualified children under the age of 21. Eligibility for the program is based on medical necessity and the need for skilled nursing and/or personal care support services.
Some services we provide include:
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Bathing
- Meals
- Monitoring vitals; blood pressure, pulse, re

At BrightStars, our mission is to provide compassionate, professional care that helps you and your child feel comfortable, supported, and stress-free.
We offer FREE in-home private care services for children and young adults under the age of 21 who have significant developmental and/or physical disabilities. Many families are pleasantly surprised to learn that their child can qualify within just 30 days of submitting an application.
